Oatmeal Cake

Oatmeal Cake
1 1/4 cup boiling water
1 cup quick oats
1/2 cup marg
1 cup br sugar
1 tsp nutmeg
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 1/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt

Pour water over oats and let stand. Cream marg, sugars, vanilla, and eggs til fluffy. Mix with dry ingredients and add oats. Pour in 9x13 pand and bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Ice with broiled icing.
